The Johnson Controls L2000 containerized distributed energy storage system can handle multiple energy applications simultaneously for large buildings, campuses, enterprises, and utilities. This scalable solution takes advantage of our world-class energy storage technology, intelligent controls, and decades of data center and chiller plant experience to provide hours of high-energy output, offering opportunities to regulate, store, and distribute power with maximum economic and functional benefits.

Significant economic benefits: The 2000 helps you capture economic benefits through support of multiple applications, including peak shaving, load shifting, frequency regulation, demand response, and participation in energy markets and incentive programs to cut costs and generate revenue. Our state-of-the-art battery technology and adaptive algorithms significantly reduce the L1000’s lifecycle costs.
Seamless integration with building systems, including Metasys® and other building automation systems via BACnet® or Modbus: Our advanced controls blend HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety to optimize performance of the entire facility and simplify participation in energy markets.
Customizable system with scalable modules with output from 50 kWh up to 250 kWh: Batteries are placed into racks (no electrician needed) and paired with our controls and embedded software.
Local and remote real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and controls: The system overview displays energy, power, health, alarm, and key performance indicator trends, updated in real time. Detailed views and reports provide additional data.
